Is responsible for day to day operations of the Employment Service Centre (ESC) and the provision of services to job seekers with the purpose of facilitating and promoting employment and social inclusion of Palestine refugees in Lebanon;
Supports the Employment Officer in coordinating technical and administrative matters relevant to the Centre
Supervises and provides guidance and day to day technical support to ESC staff;
Assists in maintaining the implementation of the ESC strategy and the achievement of objectives set for the Centre; reviews progress at regular intervals and liaises with the Employment Officer in solving problems and any obstacle that may face the implementation of the ESC strategy;
Prepares monthly and quarterly reports reflecting on achievements of ESC as compared with baseline and targets pre-defined;
Liaises with community representatives and other local agencies and organizations, including National Employment Office and other Employment Service Centers in the country, to disseminate information about the legal status of Palestine refugees with regards to right to work;
Communicates the results of labor market assessments conducted and makes recommendations as relates to placement of jobseekers;
Under the guidance of the supervisor, follows up on the implementation of apprenticeship and internship programmes initiatives;
Acts as a representative for the ESC in internal and external meetings;
Follows up on the Management Information System to ensure it is properly functioning and responds to staff needs;
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
