Salary: £33,924 – £37,317 Permanent contract

We are looking for a skilled and experienced country manager to represent British Red Cross in Syria and Lebanon to deliver the British Red Cross country strategies, ensuring an integrated approach in activities. Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining operational relationships, building partnerships and ensuring BRC’s resources are used effectively and accountably to provide maximum impacts on the lives of vulnerable people in Syria and Lebanon.

In this exciting role you will be part of the Middle East, North Africa and West & Central Asia regional team which consists of staff members based across the region and in the London office. You will manage the programme team in country and report to the Head of Region based in London whilst working with counterparts in the Syria and Lebanon Red Cross Red Crescent Societies, IFRC and other national societies.

We’re looking for someone with demonstrable experience of working in emergency response, recovery and development programmes with a strong track record of working through, and supporting, national partner organisations.
