Background
PSI Myanmar is implementing a three year project (2015 – 2017) to address gender-based violence (GBV) in Myanmar. The program is implemented with local partners who provide social services for GBV survivors. The main objectives of the project are to:

- Create a support network of services for GBV survivors, in close collaboration with local community-based organizations;
- Implement community-based behavior change communications to challenge negative gender norms and raise awareness of services available to GBV survivors;
Leverage PSI's franchise of private healthcare providers to identify and link survivors to a support system.
