About the Role
With the conflict in Syria into its sixth year, this is an opportunity to join the Oxfam team in the next phase of its response.
This is a key role supporting Oxfam’s campaign and policy work on the Syria crisis. You will produce regular policy briefings, keep an eye on new developments, produce policy analysis for senior members of the organisation, and work collaboratively with other INGOs and civil society actors to advance our key campaigns.
Based in either Amman or Beirut, you will help co-ordinate Oxfam’s campaign and policy work across the response, coordinating and working with policy staff in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey and supporting Oxfam affiliates across the globe.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the team, with a passion for helping those in need.
You will have an eye for determining the key issues and experience in working collaboratively to produce impactful policy work. You will have effective lobbying skills and be ready to directly influence key decision-makers in the region.
You will have a clear understanding of how different influencing approaches can come together to create change, including though advocacy and public engagement.
