About the program
The Myanmar Education Quality Improvement Program (My-EQIP) is a joint initiative of the Governments of Myanmar and Australia. My-EQIP will support the Ministry of Education to build a system that collects and analyses data about the quality of education in Myanmar. That data will be used to improve the ministry’s policy development, decision making, and efficient use of increased funding for education.
The goal of My-EQIP is to contribute to more efficient, effective and inclusive service delivery and teaching to improve access, completion, and learning for boys and girls across Myanmar.

About the panel
My-EQIP is establishing a register of Myanmar short-term consultants, who are available to provide Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) services. Through this application process, a group of successful consultants will be pre-qualified for possible future inputs. They will be offered short-term contracts for services to be specified later. A daily fee rate will be agreed, and the consultant will invoice Cardno monthly or at input conclusion. Actual terms of reference for specific tasks will be provided later, in tasking notes.

Panel member position details
The M&E Panel will be made up of Myanmar nationals with M&E skills who can contribute to the M&E work of the My-EQIP M&E team. You will work closely with the Ministry of Education, supporting quality improvement of the Ministry’s M&E through specific advisory or capacity development tasks.

Remuneration
A daily fee will be negotiated at market rates, based on the experience of successful applicants.
