Specialised in the sectors of health, education, rural livelihoods and private sector development, our clients include bilateral and multilateral development agencies, the private sector, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and other development stakeholders.
Montrose’s Asia-Pacific office (based in Yangon) are seeking to expand our network of high quality experts for upcoming projects in Myanmar in a variety of sectors. Montrose are particularly seeking consultants with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
· Education, particularly:
o Evaluation of education programmes
o Gender in an education context
o Change management in education
· Enterprise
· Gender
· Monitoring & Evaluation
· Agriculture
· Value chain upgrading
Requirements:
Relevant undergraduate (essential) or post graduate (preferred) degree
A minimum of 5 years’ professional consulting experience in relevant sector(s)
Full working proficiency in English along with excellent writing and presentation skills (some knowledge of Myanmar language desirable)
Experience working in relevant technical fields in Myanmar
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team
Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision
