Key Task:responsible to design, planning and organizing community participation for construction activities with community. He/she will work under the supervision, and report to Programme Manager/Project Manager to support operating functions of the project.
TheM&E and Capacity Building Coordinatoris responsible for:
· Working with the Programme Advisor and Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor to implement an M&E system with relevant tools and to train MEAL & Reporting Officers in its application.
· Carrying out an organisational development assessment (5C-model) and assessing the institutional capacity of both local partner organisations and national staff. Developing and implementing, in close collaboration with all parties, a capacity building plan to address needs and recommendations for improvement. Monitoring progress.
· Supporting and advising Programme Manager in project planning, financial analysis and reporting.
· Ensuring that progress, lessons learnt and impact at different levels are collected, documented and shared internally and outside the consortium by using creative methods (videos, newsletter etc.). As part of the learning process developing training materials and manuals.
· Working with the Programme Advisor and Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor to develop and implement a complaints-handling process for beneficiaries and their communities, (project) staff and local partner organisations. Ensuring that complaints are managed in a timely and appropriate manner.
· Monitoring of contracts of local partner organisations and ensuring full compliance with requirements.
· Archiving, maintaining and updating full project documentation.
· Providing support to the Country Director in planning and preparing Steering Committee meetings.
