Job description
- Develop consortium programming in coordination with members and relevant NRC staff.
- Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, CC tools, handbooks and guidelines
- Responsible for the development and management of funding proposals, project budgets and donor reports
- Overall management of project staff
- Implement technical direction and ensure high technical quality of project/s
- Coordinate and manage Education project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements
- Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills
- Liaison and collaborate with relevant local and national authorities and stakeholders and represent NRC in relevant forums/cluster/working groups.
- Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy
- Coordinate with Area Office management to ensure the implementation of NRC SIRP project activities.
- Hold regular consortium meetings and oversee the consortium partners work plans and progress towards goals. Flag any issues with delivery.
- Ensure and support the implementation of the applicable M and E system in coordination with the NRC M and E team and consortium partners’ teams.
- Design and develop partnership working SoPs in collaboration with the Head of Programme
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience from a senior level project implementation position in a humanitarian/recovery context with extensive experience of working with and through partners
- Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Experience of working with the EU as a donor.
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
- Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of SE Myanmar context an advantage
- Knowledge of local languages (Myanmar/Karen languages an advantage)

We offer
- Contract period: 6 months
- Salary/benefits: According to NRC’s general directions
- Duty Station: Yangon, Myanmar with 40% travel required
- This is an unaccompanied post/non family duty station, with shared housing/accomodation of moderate standard.
