Under the guidance and supervision of the Chief Communications and PI Officer:
Disseminate, distribute and publish information supporting UNRWA's work and services.
Initiate and implement awareness and public information strategies and campaigns.
Implement visibility components.
Provide communication support to Field Public Information Officer, CAO, Operation Service Officer (OSO), CSOs, DRU other departments in UNRWA.
Establish media contacts in Areas (as relevant)
Assist PIO and Donor Relation Unit (DRU) in field visits of donors and partners to Areas.
Arrange, coordinate and facilitate community events.
Draft, print and distribute bi-monthly community newsletter.
Organize regular focus group/community meetings.
Draft human interest stories.
Conduct regular home visits to PRS and PRL beneficiaries.
Represent Communications and PIO in coordination meetings
Perform any other work related task as requested by the Field Public Information Officer
