Plan International is working in Myanmar to develop and run cost effective and high impact programmes. Using Child Centred Community Development Approach with a focus on rights-based work, the program will focus on DRR, ECCD, WASH, Child Protection, MN&CH and Emergency Response.
The Opportunity
The purpose of the role is to lead and manage functional areas of finance, administration, functional areas of finance, administration & logistics, IT, security, internal control, legal and risk management, through the development and implementation of strategies to ensure adequate control of resources, transparency and optimal operational performance of Plan Myanmar, aligned with the Country Strategic Plan (CSP), local and global policies and the principle of accountability.
In this role you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective information and communication services to enable the achievement of strategic plan and programs of Plan Myanmar in accordance with Plan International’s principles, values, policies, guidelines, and complying with CO standards, rules and regulations.
Do you have what it takes?
In order to succeed in this varied and challenging role you will need demonstrable knowledge as a result of education, training or practical experience on the key debates in development, particularly around child rights.
Practical knowledge of operations support for development and emergency response, as well as general knowledge of financial, administrative, HR, ICT, security, Audit and business management matters.
Knowledge of the host country, the geopolitical factors affecting child-poverty in the country as well as the political, social and economic opportunities for development are an advantage.

Salary: Circa $50,000.00 USD per annum plus benefits
