Job profile
The ECHO Project Manager (ECHO PM) Lebanon will manage the delivery of the ECHO project implemented in Lebanon by CAFOD Partner Caritas Lebanon Migrants Centre (CLMC). This post will contribute to the delivery of CAFOD’s overall strategy for responding to those affected by the Syrian conflict within northern Lebanon and the wider area. The ECHO PM will work closely with Caritas Lebanon Migrants Centre (CLMC), the CAFOD implementing partner, to provide operational guidance and management to CAFOD’s and CLMC ECHO Action , ensuring donor compliance and appropriate, effective and high-quality programming in accordance with CAFOD's policies and procedures. The ECHO Project Manager will work closely with the Emergency Programme Manager - Syria crisis Response - based in London, to support CLMC in the correct implementation of the ECHO project.
Job role
Candidates should have demonstrated experience of ECHO project management, working with partner organisations, humanitarian response in the Middle East and incorporation of humanitarian standards in programming. A strong understanding of programme cycle management, ECHO donor compliance and a commitment to delivering programmes through partnership are a must.
