The Position:** The Mental Health & Care Practices (MHCP) Coordinator will have to coordinate and supervise ACF MHCP and MHPSS programs in Myanmar, by insuring the quality of implementation and strategies. More precisely, the main responsibilities will be:
Develop, monitor and supervise the action on the field of MHCP
Supervise programs at field level and provide operational recommendations (for all ACF bases in Rakhine, Kayah and Chin States)
Monitor and supervise the data collection and compilation for APR, the allocated budgets and standardized methodologies, protocols and tools with PMs
Participate to MHCP team management and action plans
Provide technical support to Program Managers and training/capacity building to the staff
Define the MHCP country strategy and positioning, coordinate needs identification and the formulation of project proposals
Provide analysis of psychosocial humanitarian situation
Define mission MHCP strategy in line with ACF national and international frameworks
Contribute developing proposals and concept notes for MHCP programs, fundraising activities and donors reports
Assess needs and resources in coordination with colleagues and in collaboration with others sectors/partners/agencies
Propose advocacy activities on MHCP and psychosocial support at field and national level
Propose and prepare consultancies and missions (recruitment of experts, , support in developing methodologies,etc)
Contribute to the development of complaints and feedback mechanisms to strengthen the accountability of the organization towards the communities
Promote capitalization through research and collection of qualitative data.
Follow up researches, studies and pilot projects in implementation areas
Supervise the capitalization of MHCP projects, methodologies, tools, qualitative information and program/impact analysis.
Ensure the active participation of ACF in national sectorial coordination and technical forums, and develop sectorial partnerships
Represent ACF with national and international authorities/stakeholders on MHCP, MHPSS and protection issues
Participate to coordination meetings, working group and clusters informing on ACF positions and protocols
Develop networking among universities (psychology, anthropology), hospitals and relevant key stakeholders linked to MHCP-MHPSS activities.
Publish / produce information concerning technical progress, impact of programs, results of research internally or externally
The Applicant:** You hold a master degree in psychology or psychiatry, and demonstrate both successful clinical and humanitarian field experiences in mental health and care practices in a similar position.
Recognized for your capacity in training, coaching and capacity building of team members, you also have a strong experience in proposal writing for donors and strategic thinking.
Knowledge experience in Myanmar / South East Asia is a clear advantage.
English fluent is required and French is a plus.
Status:**
Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 depending on relevant experience
Food and hygiene expenses, per diem, transportation costs, collective or individual accommodation, medical insurance
25 days of annual paid leaves and 20 days of rest and recuperation (R&R) per year
