ACF is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its goal is to combat hunger and dangerous situations that threaten men, women and children. Currently 500 expats and more than 5,000 employees are working for ACF in more than forty-six countries working in projects concerning four areas of focus: nutrition, health, food security and water and sanitation.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
To lead the process of proposal and report writing according to the established standard procedures, and follow up the implementation through the compilation of project progress reports.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Identification, preparation and writing of proposals and to be submitted to partners, following ACF validation processes and taking in account the donor guidelines.
In collaboration with Technical Coordinators and HoPs, the Grant Writer prepares the reports to be submitted to donors.
Provide monthly reports to HQ about the status of proposals, projects and reports, and maintain GESPRA updated.
Support the mission in preparation of ToRs for analysis, evaluation and capitalization of implemented projects/programmes.
Capacity building in proposal and report writing (Assessments, SWOT, LogFrame, Theory of Change, Stakeholders Analysis, etc.).
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
· Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Education, Economics, Sociology, International Development, Political Science or International Relations.
· Good experience in proposal writing, donor rules, validation procedures, coordination of processes. Experience in Project Cycle Management. Ability to write donor reports and proposals in excellent English. Training and capacity building experience.
· Previous experience in similar position of at least 2 years, and in the humanitarian field (at least 3 years).
· Diplomatic and tactful, professional and transparent. Team spirit and good communication skills. Organized and rigorous. Ability to quickly integrate and understand working environment. Able to understand and work in a complex political and humanitarian context.
· English (compulsory working language, spoken, read and written); Spanish (desirable); Arabic (useful)
· Windows Domain, Compulsory expertise in Excel, accounting program
· The position is based in Beirut, Lebanon with visits to the bases to follow up the programme implementation and to conduct capacity building sessions
REMUNERATIVE PACKAGE
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
- Formal work contract: 6 monthswith high probability of renewal.
- Base: Beirut
- Salary: from 1375€ to 1750€ gross per month according to candidate’s previous experience (according to standard list of ACF- Spain). ACF- Spain remuneration system allows a salary progression based on the annual development appraisal.

- Up to 20% additional remuneration depending on the position’s context and responsibilities (according the grading scale set by ACF-E)
- House and maintenance covered by the organization (including per diem): package estimated according to the destination.
- Travel costs to and from the mission.
- 25 working days of paid leave per year.
- Break: additional rest period, including travel cost to a reference area and economic help of 215€.
- Health, repatriation, travel and life insurance covered by the organization.
- Extra per month and per child (Under 18 years old): from 100€ to 225€ monthly (according to standard list of ACF-Spain).
